The Essence Blouse is a refined, textured piece crafted from seersucker organic cotton. With a relaxed fit, it features delicate pleating and tuck details through the front, adding subtle shaping. Pleating at the top of the sleeves creates a sculptural effect. It has a neat collar and is finished with a nut button closure through the front.

Our organic cotton is grown using non-genetically modified seeds, sans harmful chemicals.
Every Kowtow piece is made to last. And with a little care, they’ll live even longer. To ensure longevity and minimise the impact on the environment, we recommend only washing your garment when necessary - air or steam to refresh between wears.

All our materials are chosen to be at one with nature, and are validated by industry bodies as best-practice. We use natural buttons - responsibly sourced from agoya shell, mussel shell or corozo nut, helping to avoid using zips which can add waste and complexity to the circularity process.

Independently audited and certified by the Fairtrade Labelling Organisation International (FLO), it ensures farmers are paid fairly, while working to improve sustainability, governance, inequality and community development in surrounding communities.

Made from card formed from a by-product of our fabric offcuts, and connected with organic cotton cord.

Our organic cotton is coloured using certified inks and dyes. Making it free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents. Retaining a natural fibre that’s breathable, durable and easy to care for.
