    Choosing plastic free alternatives to zips has always been part of our reductive design process. Denim garments are finished with nickel-free metal tacks, snaps and D-rings, which can be returned to Kowtow and recycled at the end of your garment's life.

    We a natural single fibre for every garment we make. Grown using non-genetically modified seeds, sans harmful chemicals. Fairtrade organic cotton is used throughout, from interlinings, wadding and labels to the thread that sews each piece together. Meaning it’s honest, organic, fully Fairtrade.

    Our organic cotton is coloured using certified inks and dyes. Making it free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents. Retaining a natural fibre that’s breathable, durable and easy to care for.
